Online money making opportunities are now available with the tremendous growth of internet. The basic knowledge of computer and internet and your interest in the field can earn you more money. If you have the ability to use the internet wisely, you can sit in your pajamas and watch cash flowing to your bank accounts. The idea of personal websites is now decreasing. More and more people are now using their websites to make money. The blogs which were primarily used as online dairy are now used as a means to make money for those who don't own a website.
Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate marketing is a very popular online business nowadays. You don't need to manufacture a product to sell. The merchant will give you his products and your only job is to promote the products. The merchant will then pay you based on your agreement. If you have agreed to promote your product with a merchant, you are called an affiliate. You don't actually need to be a business magnet to succeed in this type of online business.
Affiliate marketing is a win-win for both merchants and affiliates. The merchants need not find companies and pay them to promote their products. They just need affiliates who can do the promotion. Based on the agreement they can pay their affiliates. A company can have as many affiliates as it can manage. There is no limit on the promotion power of affiliates and as the company has more affiliates then it is sure to reach many people.
The affiliates just need to own a website or even a blog is sufficient. The affiliates must place the ads of the merchant's products in their website. When the affiliate sends a visitor to the merchant's website, the affiliate id is tracked using the special affiliate URL. The affiliate is then paid by the merchant either on pay per click or par per lead or pay per sale basis. Affiliates like pay per click basis while most merchants provide payments on the rest two bases.
To generate more from affiliate marketing, the affiliate must know tricks to attract traffic to his site. Since people visiting your site will have a similar interest, they will mostly visit the merchant's site if the product will really be of use for them.
Google AdSense
Google AdSense is a modified way of affiliate marketing. Here Google acts as an intermediate between the merchants and the affiliates. The merchants will pay Google and Google will inturn pay the affiliates. There will be no direct contacts between the merchants and the affiliates in Google AdSense program.
In fact the merchants will never know where their ads are displayed. The affiliate will also not know whose advertisements will be placed on their site. Though the ads in the affiliate website will match the content, the affiliate cannot decide which ads to display. Google crawler will gather information about the contents in the affiliate website and decide what ads are to be placed. You may also get different ads each time when the page is loaded.
Google pays the affiliates on a pay per click bases. When somebody who visits your site clicks on ads placed by Google in your site, you will be paid. The amount of money depends purely on how much money the advertiser is ready to pay. Google will take its own share and pays the rest of money to its affiliates like you. When your website centers on a highly wanted keyword your share may become less as you will have many affiliates with same interest. But it all depends on the theme of your website.
The merchants also like AdSense program as they need to pay Google when some valid visitor visits their site. Google AdSense program is a massive hit as the merchants use it for reaching customers across different geographic locations and as affiliates are getting money just for sending visitors.
The combined power
If you have a website that you use for affiliate marketing, you can use the same for Google AdSense. Will you deny that extra money you will be getting with no effort? When your application is approved by Google for placing its ads, you will be provided with a JavaScript code to place in your website. You are not allowed to alter this code but you can choose from various templates that Google provides for its AdSense affiliates. When you have AdSense ads in your affiliate marketing site, apart from generating cash from the products you sell through your site, you can also convert the cheap clicks to real cash. Today more people are into affiliate business and all of them are using AdSense in their website. After all we all are searching for profits online and the combination of affiliate marketing and AdSense can bring you good money and you only need to attract traffic to your website to generate the most wanted money.

Adsense Tips You Need To Know

Adsense is one of the best online advertising programs in existence. A large number of bloggers and web site owners use Adsense Ads to create a regular source of income.
Adsense revenue is generated when a visitor to your site clicks through an Adsense Ad you have displayed. In this article I will be sharing with you some tips and tricks you will need to employ to maximize your Adsense income.
The first and most important thing to increase your Adsense income is to increase the number of click throughs you receive.
The best way to achieve a higher click through rate is to match you Adsense ads with the look of your website. It is hard to illustrate here but you can check out an example of proper Adsense integration on my website, at the end of this article.
Your goal is to make sure your Adsense ads appear seam less, make sure to match the background color of your ads with the background color of your website.
The size of your Adsense ads is also crucial to your success. The wider ad formats are generally known to be more effective. For vertical skyscraper ads the 160X600 and for rectangles 336X280 have been proven to be the best.
Placement of your Adsense ads is also important, placing them at the top and to the right will improve your click through rate dramatically. Occasionally inserting them between paragraphs works as well but be sure not to over do it.
One thing to keep in mind though is that Google Adsense only allows you to use 3 ad units and one link unit per page. If you exceed the limit you risk the chance of being banned.
Another way to increase your income is to place a Google Adsense search bar on your page. When a visitor to your site uses your search bar your Google Adsense ID is embedded in all of their Google searches. If they then click on any links while surfing from your site, you make money!
Google Adsense filter is also a handy feature that you can use to block your competitors from placing ads on your site. Overdoing it with the filter could limit some of your ad options so use it sparingly.
Adsense also allows you to ad channels so you can monitor different ad campaigns and determine which ones are performing better.
Feel free to experiment with different colors and placements from time to time if you feel you are not achieving the results you desire. To see how all of these Adsense tips are integrated drop by my site for a look.
Well good luck, your Adsense revenue should begin to increase in the next couple of weeks.

How To Place Your Adsense Ads For More Money

Adsense is a wonderful opportunity for you to generate additional income for your website. It doesn’t cost you anything is the best part! Adsense is also very simple. You have to complete an application with Google and be accepted to host advertisements for other businesses.
Then you simply add lines of code to the html on the pages of the website where you are willing to have advertisements. With that all in place, how do you blend the Adsense Ads into your website so they don’t stick out like a sore thumb? You don’t want them to distract the consumer from what you are offering on your website.
You may not be aware of it, but you have a lot of say in how the advertisements are placed on your website including the placement, format, color, and style. There are many places on a website to put Adsense Ads. Some prefer to place it on the top of the page and others like the bottom of the page.
Along either side of the text for your website is convenient too. Since we read from left to right, the right side is more common as it will attract attention as the eyes move across the page.
According to Google Adsense, the most effective location is at the top of the page because the entire ad can be seen. Often parts of it are hidden when on the sides unless the mouse is used to scroll over the information. This can be distracting to the consumer and lose the effectiveness of the advertisement. They also recommend using different colors for the ads to differentiate it from your website materials, but to use colors that compliment each other.
The format can be modified to make it different or the same as your website. Some advertisement hosts like everything to be in the same style and size to give a symmetrical look to the pages. Others like to have their information completely distinct from the advertisements. Both are effective so it is only a matter of personal preference as to how you want your website to appear.
Colors including the background can be changed to make everything work together well. You might have to experience a little to come up with the right design you are happy with.
You want to blend the Adsense ads enough that they look natural appearing on your website rather than appearing to be out of place. If they don’t look natural they can be distracting to the consumer. They also won’t be effective because consumers don’t trust what doesn’t look professional when it comes to the internet.
This could be damaging to your own sales on your website so pay close attention to this issue. It is a good idea to ask some others for feedback on how the information appears to them on your website. You should avoid placing ads to where they appear to be banners.
Adsense offers you some useful tools as well to get everything to blend. The Google Adsense Preview tools allows you to test the layout of your website with the ads in place. This gives you the opportunity to change anything that is ineffective before your consumers view in over the internet. You can also contact their customer support 24/7 for questions or concerns you may have.
Adsense is a great way for your website to generate additional income by offering to host advertisements for other businesses with similar products and services to offer consumers. You are still in control of the layout and design of your website. You have the ability to change the color, format, and style of the advertisements placed on your website. You also get to determine where they are placed. This makes the idea of participating in Adsense advertising even more appealing. This is why I highly recommend monetizing your websites as much as possible with Google Adsense.

AdSense Secret - Getting Targeted Ads

AndrewCunnington

adsense

AdSense publishers make money by getting clicks on the ads which display on their websites. There are many ways to build profitable AdSense websites, but too often webmasters complain that they are not getting the right kind of ads to display, or their clicks are extremely low paying. So forums and message boards are constantly filled with the same types of questions: How do I make AdSense perform better on my site?
And the answer is quite simple. It really is all about the content. AdSense is a contextual advertising service. This means it is specifically designed to show ads which it feels are related to the content it finds on your pages. And there are certain types of content on a website page which will carry more weight than others, so the AdSense system may display ads based on small portions of your page instead of the entire thing.
One of the most common problems new webmasters have is when they set up a blog to run AdSense on. They quickly find that no matter how much content they add to the site, the AdSense ads insist on running ads about blogging - even if this blog has nothing to do with blogging itself.
The reason this happens is usually caused due to something in the content of your pages. It's often related to the title of a website page, the meta tags on that page, or the headers being used on the pages. Let's look at this in more detail...
1. Website titles.
Each page of your website should always have a unique title that is specifically related to the content on your page. The title of a website page can be seen at the very top of your website browser when you visit the page. If your website title has the word "blog" in it, you increase the chances of AdSense thinking your site is about blogging, thus is may start showing ads all about blogging.
So instead of creating a website or web page title which says "My blog", try changing that to something that relates to the content of your blog. If you're writing about your weight loss success for instance, then make your website page titles say something like "my weight loss success".
2. Meta Tags.
Too many people wrongly believe that website meta tags are no longer important. And I'll repeat: They are wrong. Meta tags may not have as much influence on your search engine rankings as they used to, but they are still used for a variety of things. And one thing they have a heavy influence on, is the type of AdSense ads which will be displayed on your website pages.
Just by putting a few, relevant keywords into a keyword meta tag on each of your website pages, you'll see a difference in the targeting of your AdSense ads. If you put several good, relevant keywords into a meta tag though, plus add a meta tag description for your website, you will see drastic differences in how well the ads are targeted. And often you'll see the newly targeted ads start showing up within minutes of making these small changes.
3. Header Tags.
The header tags used within your website are those which have H1, H2, H3 and so on around them. These are called header tags, and they are there to help with layout, formatting, and organization of a website page. The words you put into these tags however, have a major influence on the types of ads which are shown in your AdSense blocks. So be sure to use these tags wisely, and keep the content in them tightly focused to the theme or topic of your website page.

Notes On Finding The Best Adsense Keywords

AndrewCunnington

adsense
One of the best things about Google Adsense is that there are just so many ways in which you can use it to make money online. Many people give Google quite a bit of slack for dominating the market and being too ‘big and corporate’, but I feel that Google has opened up doors for so many people to make money online.
Finding the best Adsense keywords is critical in having any success and regardless of your strategy, your keywords is of cardinal importance. Adsense is all about keywords and keywords are all about profitability. When it comes to Adsense and finding the best Adsense keywords, it's important to remember that not all keywords are created equal. Although some keywords might be very popular, they might not bring you any returns if you target them with your Adsense campaigns. Similarly, a keyword can have a very high cost per click (CPC) but not generate enough traffic to actually get any clicks.
If you are playing the Adsense game then it's all about balancing the amounts of click you get and the cost per click. Getting a decent amount of clicks from keywords with a good (not necessarily the highest) cost per click you can greatly improve your profitability and your Adsense earnings..
Finding the best Adsense keywords is not the easiest task in the world. Unfortunately, testing is the best way to find out, but certain software packages can greatly improve your profitability. If you are serious about earning a full time income from Adsense then you simply cannot afford to go without software like Keyword Elite which is probably the most powerful piece of software for this purpose.
The way I use Keyword Elite is to 'spy' on websites that look like they are doing well with Adsense. I try to sniff out the top Adsense guys' websites and then use Keyword Elite to see which keywords they are using. What makes Keyword Elite so powerful is that it would allow you to see just how long a specific website's been doing what it's doing. It is likely that if an Adsense site has been using the same strategy for more than six months then it is likely that they are making money from it.
Finding the best Adsense keywords is all about that golden balance between traffic and cost per click. Getting a lot of clicks from a cheaper keyword can be more profitable than getting only a couple of clicks from a more expensive one. Going for cheaper keywords has some added benefits though. Most people go for the expensive keywords and these markets tend to be so crowded that it's virtually impossible to get in there. As soon as you go down just a little, you can greatly improve your chances of success in less competitive markets.
When choosing keywords, one of the main considerations is the amount of traffic you can funnel to your site. Keep your niches very tight at first and focus on highly targeted traffic. Start tight and expand from there. If you are using Adwords to drive traffic to your Adsense site then it's virtually impossible to make it without the appropriate software. Once again, Keyword Elite is probably the best bet and I would recommend that you incorporate some kind of tracking software. It is incredibly important that you track your results.
In any given campaign 80% of your profit will come from 20% of your keywords. The key to profitability lies in trimming the fat and removing those keywords that cost you money without bringing decent returns.
For anyone first starting out with the Adsense and Adwords game it might at first seem impossible to make any money from it. It seems like the returns just never justify the expense. Only when you start to 'trim the fat' can you really start to make money with this method. Adsense websites don't really make that much money, but the fact that you can easily scale the process makes it so powerful. Having 50 Adsense sites each earning you $100 a month is $ 5 000 a month - meaning you can quit your day job.
You can easily get sucked into finding the best Adsense Keywords and spend hours looking for and contemplating as to which Adsense keywords to go for. Don't! On average you will make the same from a high CPC keyword as you would from a lower one. Once you factor in the traffic, the competitiveness and the cost of getting traffic to your site it can get very complicated. Just pick one and do it. That is the important thing. In the end, the best Adsense keywords are the ones that you actually use and do something with.

Why Adsense Is Essential For Content Sites?

To extract the maximum benefits from Adsense, It is essential that you know how Adsense works before hand.
Working of Adsense, which could be advantageous to your content sites, is really simple. You implement Adsense feature by incorporating a java script in to your website. Whenever the page gets accessed, the java script fetches advertisements from the Adsense program. It is imperative that the ads contains in the web page are closed related to the theme and the content of the page.
Whenever someone clicks an advertisement on the web page, the web master of that page gets a percentage of what the advertiser had actually paid for the search engine for a click.
What is so special about a webmaster’s earning this way that, he/she need not worry about contacting the advertisers, monitoring the clicks, maintaining statistics, computing the payments and collecting them. Each and every aspect of Adsense is taken care of the search engine people themselves.
Adsense offers the webmasters the much needed opportunity to select Ads of their choice which are in tune with the web page and the website. Also full ad customization is possible with Adsense. You can change the way the Ads look according to your taste, rather the taste of your web page.
Search engines keep track of these Ads, and present a comprehensive report to the webmasters about the clicks and their frequency. Webmasters then can have an idea about how his Adsense Ads are performing and make the necessary changes to make it more effective. The effectiveness of the changes can also be assessed immediately.
Adsense is beneficial not only to the webmasters. Needless to say, the advertisers have a platform for their product and service.
The success of Adsense lies very much on the content of the website. More focused the content is targeting a specific niche, the ads of search engine will also be more targeted resulting in more clicks and of course more money for you.
Adsense is an easy to implement feature by which a webmaster surely can make more money without much effort.

AdSense Traffic Pays Off

Making money off a web site isn’t a difficult proposition. All that’s necessary is a good site and a willingness to work to kick up the traffic. When it comes to making money off Google’s ad program, AdSense traffic will be key in whether a revenue stream is present or it’s not.
While any site can have a lot of traffic, AdSense traffic is a little different. The AdSense traffic is the traffic that shows up on a site that’s willing to look at the ads and click through.
Even if a web site has a lot of inherent traffic, boosting the AdSense traffic will be vital to the bottom line. Since many AdSense ads require visitors to click through to different sites, those wanting to make money in this manner will need to know how to entice viewers to click through without actually breaking Google’s rules about hard sell tactics.
The best way to increase AdSense traffic is to increase overall traffic. However, upping the conversion rate isn’t a bad idea either to capitalize on AdSense traffic. Let’s look at some ways to make this happen:
·Make content relevant. Content that isn’t engaging, interesting or relevant tends not to hold a viewer’s interest. If content isn’t solid, visitors might not stay long enough to click through on an ad. This means that traffic might come, but AdSense traffic won’t necessarily be there.
·Keep content updated. This is a great way to drive AdSense traffic to a web site. By updating regularly, and adding new content all the time, a site increases its potential to drive visitors to itself. Some of these visitors are likely to be the kind that will translate into AdSense traffic, too.
·Limit outgoing links. There’s a pretty good theory that states AdSense traffic will remain higher on the conversion rates if the options for leaving a page are minimized. This doesn’t mean giving up on outgoing links entirely, it just means capitalizing on AdSense traffic by lessening those links.
·Advertise. Some people who do very well driving AdSense traffic to their own sites actually advertise on a few others, as well. The key is driving traffic to a site that can be turned into AdSense traffic.
·Make ads appealing. Don’t be afraid to experiment with AdSense placement, ads and ad styles. The more interesting the ads, the more likely AdSense traffic is to pay off.
There is regular web site traffic and then there is AdSense traffic. The AdSense traffic is the amount of visitors who actually click through and help a site make money. While all visitors are great, generating more AdSense traffic will take some time and dedication, but it can come with some great rewards.

Adsense Decoded Review

adsense

Adsense Decoded is the latest adsense guide to hit the somewhat overflowing adsense market. Adsense Decoded claims to cover all the steps you need to take in order to make your adsense campaign successful. It consists of a series of videos hosted on the main website which you access with a user name and password. However you can download the videos to your hard drive and watch them at your leisure. For those of you who have been around the internet marketing scene for a while this may sound familiar, it should because the format is remarkably similar to Michael Cheneys Adsense Videos product which was released last year with a recent update.
Adsense decode comes with 10 videos the majority of which are at least 15 mins in length so there is certainly plenty of content. Video 1 shows you how Patrick’s (the author) traffic and revenue increased by 100’s of percent in just a couple of days.
It also introduces the 3 main concepts you must improve to achieve success.
Video 2 discusses adsense ad formats, what they are and which are the most profitable formats colors etc. It also covers the rest of your account settings which is very useful.
Video 3 explains the huge importance of adsense tracking, how to do it and how to use the results to improve your stats. Video 4 I found very interesting as it shows you how the best results are obtained from placing your adsense in the best positions (some of these I had never seen before) and then rather cheekily suggest that you might not want to use these as they are too successful at taking people away from your site! I guess what he means is use these on adsense only sites.
Video 5 shows one of Patrick’s adsense sites and takes you on an in depth tour of what makes it so successful. He then goes on to summarize the 20 best practices tips he has showed you so far. Video 6 goes into great detail about adsense’s Smart Pricing concept. Obviously this is his opinion as Google do not release details about this but his ideas make more sense than many I’ve seen before. Video 7 discusses creating or obtaining content and ad targeting. For me this is one of the most important concepts in adsense revenue and he does an excellent job highlighting how to do this correctly, a very novel and refreshing approach.
Video 8 is all about pay per click traffic and shows you 7 different programs which he uses to increase his profits. This was another good video as so many of the gurus just talk about adwords which I actually find very unreliable for adsense and having actually run test on some of the sites he suggests I can verify that they do work and much more successfully than adwords. Video 9 covers additional revenues you can get from your adsense pages, which are and which are not allowed by googles adsense tos.
Video 10 covers traffic generating methods, opt in mailing lists and other miscellaneous information. So what is my overall verdict and how does adsense decoded compare to Michael Cheney’s adsense videos? Well I don’t think I can compare the two as although they are very similar they do both contain different techniques which do actually work according to my tests.
I think if you are looking to learn how to either start your adsense campaign or improve one that is not making you as much as you want then either of these products will work for you. They have both worked for me that is for sure so the decision on which one to buy is up to you.

The Perfect Route Towards AdSense Cash

AndrewCunnington
yournetbiz
adsense

We all know that Google AdSense has changed immensely over the many years it has operated as the premier PPC scheme for webmasters. There was a time when it was relatively easy to make a little extra cash with AdSense. A time when it was a fledgling service, when it was learning and adapting to an environment that was new to the potential of PPC schemes.
The rules were little lax in those days and many smart publishers found multiple numbers of ways to exploit Google AdSense to their financial benefit.
But the landscape has changed drastically since these early days. Google has tightened its rules and perfected its service. The days of making easy cash with AdSense using huge numbers of revenue sites or using AdSense arbitrage are numbered. It has become harder to cut corners with the scheme, harder for the more cavalier publishers to use it as a 'quick rich' scheme.
So how can you make money with AdSense nowadays?
If you are considering using the AdSense scheme you have to realize that it can no longer be used to make money quickly (not for the long term anyway, since most 'quick' methods often require breaking Google's Terms of Service (ToS) which can result in you getting banned from AdSense).
However, you can make some extra cash with AdSense, slowly. It can take up to half a year to get a taste of your first AdSense cash. But once the momentum has started, once you've understood how it works, then the frequency and the amount starts to build up.
As a beginner the best way to make money using AdSense is to create a quality 'niche' website. These three words encapsulate the essence of what is required for to create successful AdSense site.
Quality, describes the standard of content required to satisfy a prospective visitor of your site. A 'quality' well optimized AdSense site will attract and 'hold' a larger proportion of traffic. A quality site will be tagged, placed in a favourites folder and will get significant number of repeat visitors.
The 'niche' aspect is an important component for success for a modern AdSense publisher. Finding and isolating a niche theme is crucial if you're just starting out with AdSense because it enables you to control a certain corner of the information web-market, giving you the potential to have a monopoly on the traffic affiliated to that theme. And as we all know;
High Targeted Traffic = AdSense Cash
Targeted traffic (visitors purposefully looking for topics related to your niche theme) are already primed for anything that satisfies their curiosity. This includes your theme related AdSense ads. Finding the perfect niche AdSense topic can be an arduous process, but no beginner should start an AdSense venture without the necessary preparation. If you are considering joining AdSense make sure you already have a number of possible 'niche' themes you are thinking of using. Do some research into how popular the theme is, what the competition is like and the popularity of the theme with advertisers.
Last of all the 'website' describes the commodity itself. It has to be of a certain standard. A well constructed, well presented website exudes professionalism. It's more easily trusted and prepares the visitor for what they are expecting; quality content.
A poorly put together site can seriously diminish your chances of making some AdSense cash. No matter how good your content is, a fair percentage of web surfers do not easily forgive a badly constructed website.
The best route towards AdSense cash, is making sure you understand what AdSense is about and understand what the scheme can realistically do for you.
AdSense is no longer the 'get rich quick' scheme that it might have once been. To make serious AdSense cash requires that you create a quality niche website to the best of your ability and this requires a lot of serious work.

Google AdSense, What Is It?

AndrewCunnington
yournetbiz
adsense

AdSense may be one of the fastest and easiest ways to monetize traffic to your web site whether you have products or services for sale or you simply provide free content to your visitors.
Simply stated, Google AdSense enables website operators to place some code on their site that connects to Google’s ad server content database and pulls keyword-relevant advertising onto the web pages. The webmaster gets paid a percentage of the fee that Google receives from the advertiser every time a visitor clicks on an ad. There is no charge for the webmaster to participate in AdSense. All costs are covered by the advertiser who participates in the AdSense sister program called AdWords.
Google’s sends out digital “robots” which use proprietary algorithms to parse the host web page and analyze the content in an effort to determine what keywords are relevant. It reports its findings back to Google’s ad server which then serves ads matching those keywords. Given that the entire process is automated, the “ad robots” do a pretty good job of getting the advertising content right most of the time.
The History of Google AdSense
Google AdSense has its roots in the old “Google Content-Targeted Advertising” program which they introduced back in March of 2003. Although this program was similar in concept to AdSense, there was no automated way of participating. Each webmaster negotiated a deal directly with Google, and websites that served less than 20 million page views per month were not welcome to participate.
As Google grew, they began to see how much money they were leaving on the table by excluding the smaller sites, which greatly outnumbered the sites serving over 20 million hits that were willing to serve other people’s ads. Their answer to that problem was AdSense which has no minimum traffic requirements and is open to all sites meeting Google’s content and decency requirements.
How much can you make running Google AdSense?
The answer to that question depends upon three factors:
1. How much traffic your site draws

2.How many visitors click on your ads

3.How much those ads pay per generated click
With some ads paying as much as $5 or more, it’s possible that you can generate a serious income with AdSense. There are relatively well documented cases of some people earning as much as $500 per DAY and more. Numbers like that are rare exceptions however. Even so, there is no reason why you can’t earn somewhere around $1,000 per month, or more, once you get the hang of it.
How to get started using Google AdSense
Make a visit to Google’s AdSense Site (https://www.google.com/adsense/) and sign up. Make sure that you read their Acceptable Use Policy and that you follow their content requirements. Google has their own “AdSense Police” who will have no problem booting you out of the program if you fail to walk the line.
Using Google AdSense on your site is like collecting free money. There’s no reason not to do it and potentially thousands of dollars worth of reasons to do it.

  • Targeted Traffic. Targeted traffic simply means attracting visitors who ARE interested in your website's content. And you need lots of it on a day to day basis. If you consider that the amount of money you get paid per click is in cents and not dollars, you begin to understand the number of visitors you will need to make a decent income from AdSense. This really is a game of numbers
  • Search engine traffic. In my experience, the best type of traffic for AdSense sites. Search engine optimisation and good search engine position for a bunch of keywords really makes a big difference to your AdSense earnings. Search engine traffic tends to convert well. Simply because the web surfer has typed in exactly what he wants to see in the browser and up comes your website.
Website size. Anecdotally and from personal experience, larger websites tend to do better with AdSense than the 4 or 5 page website. I suppose that with all the content in the multipage website, your likelihood of attracting an adequate amount of traffic and ranking well for some keywords are better. However there is the case for having multiple small websites. Each of the websites will only bring a small amount of revenue but a large network of these sites could make a significant impact on your earningsSo in conclusion, anyone can make money form Google's AdSense program if you are willing to put in the effort it takes to build high quality information websites

So I guess you've heard of Adsense then, right? And you know that it's possible to make a massive residual Adsense income from Adsense ads placed on your website, right?
Well let's think about it for a second. Slow down and really imagine that thought for a moment or two. You actually think you can create an adsense income, just by placing adsense ads on your website, and people will flock to your website, and click on your adsense ads a million times, and you'll be filthy stinking rich overnight precious? Hmm.......
Okay, I know you're not that stupid, and you realise there's more work involved with adsense to make things work right. And by right, I mean the above scenario actually happens. People visit your site, and by clever application of certain insider techniques, visitors start to click your ads, and earn you a whopping big adsense commission cheque.
So how do you create this income then? What are these secrets to explode your adsense income? Why are you only earning a few measly pennies each day, if that? Well, I'll tell you. But first, you must understand something that is paramount to your success. This is essential, no matter what kind of income you're trying to create, no matter what line of internet marketing you choose. Are you ready?
Creating a massive adsense income TAKES TIME! I can't stress this enough. If you tried adding the code to your sites, and messing with different adsense ad types, and after a week, got fed up and quit, then adsense is never going to bring you any kind of income, period
But you've read this far, so hopefully you already realise that anything worthwhile takes time. Let's say you're serious about using adsense as another stream of income. So you now need to know the four vital ingredients to make your adsense ads spit out that dream income, in the shortest time possible.
They are:
1. Content
2. Keywords
3. Your ads
4. Traffic
Get used to these four words. They are the cornerstone of your adsense Income project. Repeat them out loud, and memorize them. Whenever you lose track of your objective, make sure these four words are in your thoughts, and use them to draw the adsense income you desire.
So what's left then? Oh that's right, you need to actually know the secrets the biggest earners are using. I know people are actually making thousands per month online, from adsense alone. This income is available to anyone who wants it. That much is obvious.
So how does $19,156 a month, every month, sound to you? Who earns that much, you say? Well Michael Cheney, for starters. He's been quietly raking in cash, hand over fist for months on end. And now he's sharing all that lovely adsense master knowledge with us lucky humans too. I saw his videos, and income proof, and my jaw dropped three storeys below. Hey, my adsense income has skyrocketed since I applied his stuff. I get a truckload of income boosting clicks each day. It's amazing when you find adsense advice that's actually been tested in the real world, information that will create an income you desire.
Anyway I just thought I'd share my thoughts on it this week, because, as you know, most adsense income guides and e-books are plain crap.

Do You Make These Mistakes With Adsense?

Don’t you think it is fascinating that with so many Adsense publishers, all setting up hundreds of sites, they have absolutely no idea who their clients are? The first rule of setting up and maintaining a successful business is thorough knowledge of your client.
Let’s flip the coin and look at it from another angle. Google does not pay you for clicks on your site; the Adwords advertiser is forking out the money for your checks. The reason why he advertises is to sell a product or service or to drive people to his site for a subscription or whatever reason. He is doing it to gain a business advantage.
The question here is: Are you giving him an advantage or are you just costing him money?
You have heard ‘Adsense is dead’ or ‘there is not so much money to be made from Adsense as in the past’. Most Adsense publishers think they have to set up a few more sites which will make up for the lost income. Dead wrong.
The reason for the downward spiral in Adsense income originates from untargeted ads on web pages. Most people would love to place the blame at the doorstep of Google, but this is not the case. The problem lies with the publishing of thousands of websites solely intended to get clicks, thus optimized for the search engine and not giving a second thought to the advertiser from Adwords.
The result from the misuse of Adsense is obvious. In most of the current Adwords information products one of the first warnings you are given when placing adwords ads is to remove the link to advertise on the content network. The reason is simple; the ads appear on untargeted pages leading to untargeted customers. This is a waste of the advertiser’s money and a direct loss of income for the Adsense publisher. All the serious Adwords advertisers are not advertising on the content network, which in turn leads to less competition. The cost per click on a content page is far less that the cost on a generic page search.
Adwords and Adsense will never die and is and will remain one of the top income earners for many internet marketers.
So what now?
The answer lies in improved sites with quality content. Play with the search engine not against it. If you want to compete with a search engine start your own. Not impossible, Google did it and succeeded.
So what exactly is improved content?
The keywords you are optimizing for should relate to your web content and add value for the visitor. This does not mean you have to write one thousand word pages all on your own. One to two hundred words per page will be fine as long as it answers the question or part of the question that the visitor was searching for with the search term. From there on the page can lead to Adsense ads and a click on the link will be a targeted visitor for the advertiser.
You also do not need to write each page yourself, you can still use PLR content and articles for your sites just make sure that the main question that the visitor would have when searching for that term is answered and lead them further to more specific information through Adsense ads.
Can you imagine the joy on your face when receiving a five figure check from Adsense, and think of the joy you would place on the face of the Adwords advertiser also receiving a five figure payday?
Once you have your site set up correctly there are a few elements that you need to give attention to. The truth about Adsense placement is that there is a trick to it.
For high CTR your ad placement must be highly optimized.
I have seen this myself in testing different Adsense placement methods. One placement for all does not work. On certain pages it would be higher up and on others it would be lower down.
It is all dependent on the content of the page and the question you should ask yourself is at which point in the content is the visitor the most likely to want more specific information. If you write your content yourself you should write it in such a way that you give information and then raise curiosity, and it is at that point where your ad should appear for the first time. By utilizing this method and keeping your content targeted you will receive many clicks and your Adwords advertiser will receive the targeted visitors he wants.
Are you beginning to see how important it is to get the content and your ads right
Now, let me ask you this: Are you one of the Adsense publishers who are costing advertiser’s money or are you one that actually help make advertisers money?

Essential Ways to Boosts Your AdSense Cash

There are many publishers that have given up (not through lack of trying) with AdSense. For many it didn't turn out to be what they expected because it wasn't quick, it wasn't easy and it wasn't as lucrative as they had been led to believe. Essentially, they found it difficult to generate decent amounts of AdSense cash.
But for every beginner that gave up on AdSense there are many more that have made a success of the scheme. It is easy to use, but unfortunately difficult to use successfully, it can be extremely quick to add to your website but can take months to get that all important first cheque. AdSense is simple to implement yet complex in scope and depth.
AdSense success is all about generating continuous AdSense cash. But how can you boost your AdSense earnings?
One of the main reasons why some publishers abandoned the scheme is because they failed to understand what AdSense is all about. They were too distracted with the possibility of making money quickly to fully comprehend that AdSense was created to be a means of earning extra revenue for publishers. It gave Google an alternative means of advertising the ads generated from its incredibly successful Adwords scheme.
If you had a quality, well publicized website AdSense was the scheme for you. You put a few ads on your site, and if visitors liked what they saw they clicked on them; you're happy and Google is happy, simple. AdSense wasn't put together by Google as a means of making money quickly for publishers, it was created primarily as a means of generating money through the 'natural' flow of traffic on the web.
So how can you use this knowledge to put together a successful AdSense website?
This knowledge helps you understand the underlying mechanism behind the true AdSense success; the natural flow of traffic. The best AdSense sites simply work with Google and utilize the natural flow of traffic through their sites to generate 'extra' AdSense cash? So how do the most successful AdSense publishers accomplish the incredibly difficult feat of creating substantial AdSense cash? They do so by respecting the underlying aims of Google AdSense by making sure that:
The core of their enterprise is comprised of a quality, content-rich and rewarding website
Their websites are optimized with well researched keywords
They use numerous ways (and sometimes expensive ways) to draw traffic to their sites
And they continually expanded and updated their sites
If the above methods are applied well, to any AdSense venture, it will undoubtedly be rewarded by a noticeable boost in the AdSense cash it generates. If an AdSense publisher treated their site like a business and ensured that it only delivered quality information; visitors (traffic) will come back. If the website is optimized with quality keywords, then it will be ready for the search engines and as a consequence it ensures it appears in the most relevant queries. It will also attract more context specific AdSense ads from Google which will ultimately increase the number of people that click on them.
Using multiple means of drawing traffic helps attract people from different areas of the World-Wide-Web and it also helps increase your standing with the search engines. And continually expanding and updating your site ensures that it is fresh and current. Expanding it also helps make it more informative as well as making it more visible to the search engines. By following these few simple rules, you can also create a website that generates a significant amount of AdSense cash.

Google Adsense: The Money Maker

If ever you felt you need more money to augment your current income, Google Adsense is your answer. To be sure, simply displaying Google Adsense ads in your website will not fetch you cash. Of course you need a website, preferably one that concerns a fair amount of populace, but that is just the beginning. It is important that you strive hard to bring sizable traffic to your site.

What is Google Adsense?

Briefly, Google Adsense is all about display of Adwords ads on content sites that are part of Google network. In effect, two things happen in conjunction with one another. First, PPC (pay per click) advertisers using Adwords ad campaign have to opt for placement of their ads in content sites (the other option is search sites). Second, individual website owners must enroll with Google to qualify for displaying Adwords ads.

Google Adsense is thus an interface whereby enrolled web publishers agree to place Google Adwords ads on their websites in return for revenue that results when those ads are clicked on. In other words, the money so collected by Google from Adwords advertisers is shared between Google itself and website owners where the clicks have occurred. Google Adsense is therefore a win-win situation for both parties at no additional cost to website owners.

Let us now explore how you can maximize your earning through Google Adsense.

How to present your Google Adsense ads

For an answer, we will turn to Google Adsense help center [https://www.google.com/support/adsense/bin/static.py?page=tips.html#17954]. There is a pictorial presentation, called 'heat map', that elucidates ideal places for locating Google Adsense ads. In short, here are main points to consider:

- Ads appearing above the fold tend to perform better.

- Place ads directly above (the hottest place) and below content.

- Place ads as close to content and navigational pane, left side being more preferable.

- Place Google Adsense ads on content pages, if not on all pages of your website.

- Combine multiple ad units on every content page, focusing specially on rectangular boxes and skyscrapers and even link units, the latter in case of space constraint.

- A big advantage with Google Adsense ads is that you can use any color combination to display the ads. Experts suggest it is better to merge ad background with background color of your webpage. Further, consider using same color for text and link as that of your webpage.

Maximize gain with Google Adsense ads

Like any money-making venture, you have to work incessantly to maximize your earnings from Google Adsense ads. After you have ensured proper appearance of Google Adsense ads on your webpage, the next thing to consider is organizing the ads in such a way that viewers are enticed to click on them. The main issue here is theme (or shall we say 'niche') of your content page and that of Google Adsense ads must coincide. For example, if the content page relates to the niche 'traveling in Himalayas', the Google Adsense ads shown need to center around this niche.

But all niches may not be popular. Therefore the trick is to discover those niche keywords that people frequently search for. There are many free and paid tools in the market that let you unravel popular search terms. None is more elaborate and helpful than the Adwords Keyword Tool. When you use the tool, try to dig out your niche keywords and build keyword-enriched content pages. Google Adsense ads appearing in those content pages are likely to be more successful in terms of visitors' inclination to click on them.

6 Steps To Picking Profitable Adsense Keywords

AndrewCunnington

adsense

Knowing how to find the best keywords for use in your Adsense ads is not a straightforward process. Finding and implementing high profit, low competition keywords in your ads really is the trick for making Adsense payoff big.
After I had tried several things to pick out good performing keywords, I wrote down this process that should yield profitable, low competition keywords for your Adsense ads. This process is not perfect, but when you analyze it and try it for yourself, you can see that it makes sense. Adsense that is.
Step 1
Research some keywords for your niche that have a high CPC value. To do this, first find your keywords using the Google Adwords keyword tool or another tool that will give you niche specific lists of keywords. Save those keywords into a spreadsheet program as a csv file. Copy and paste those keywords into Google's Traffic Estimator (you will need an Adwords account). The traffic estimator will give you the estimated clicks per day and the average cost per click (CPC) for each keyword. Copy and paste this information back into your spreadsheet file for later reference.
Step 2
Multiply the average CPC by 30% to get an estimate of your maximum earnings per click. The higher the average CPC, the more likely the CPC for the 2nd - 8th positions are high as well. You want this higher average CPC to start because if the CPC starts to drop off significantly after the 3rd position, your chance of getting high click earnings as an Adsense publisher will be diminished.
Step 3
I use a tool called Adwords Accelerator to help with estimating the 1st - 8th position CPC values. This tool will estimate the CPCs for each position and allow you to see how much the CPCs drop off after the first position. This dramatically helps your analysis for picking the most profitable keywords. If the CPC values stay close to the each other and to the value of the first position, then you will more than likely have a profitable keyword.
Step 4
Now determine which Adsense ads occupy which positions. You can do this by searching on Google for your keyword and looking to see which Adsense ads are generated in the search results and in which order they are. Another way to estimate this is to use the Adwords Accelerator tool. It has a feature whereby Adwords ads are dynamically displayed for a given keyword you input into the tool to check. If the Adwords advertiser has used "Adwords for Content" in his advertising, these ads will be the Adsense ads someone else is displaying on their website.
Step 5
Compare the ads you found in step 4 to the results of using the keyword check function at the website http://www.adsensecheck.com. If the advertisers you find by doing this closely match those you found in step 4, you will more than likely have a profitable keyword.
If the advertisers are not he same, then the advertiser is possibly not using the "Adwords for Content" mode of advertising in his campaigns. This means that the keyword may not be the basis for the Adsense ads and may not be profitable.
Step 6
Now you must get the traffic. If you decide to get traffic using the Adwords approach, then just use the keywords in your Adsense ads that scored well from the above evaluation. Then, use lower cost per click keywords in your Adwords ads. The difference between the earnings from the click you get on your Adsense word from the cost of the click you pay on your Adwords word will be your profit.
If you are planning to use search engine optimization techniques to get traffic to the website where your ads are, make sure the keywords you choose have the highest KEI possible. KEI is the ratio of the number of searches for a keyword to the number of competing sites having the keyword. The combination of a high KEI and a high score from the above evaluation will yield the best profit results.

It Makes Sense to Add AdSense to Your Blog

Google AdSense is easy to install on a web page or blog and constitutes additional source of income without spending anything. You have to apply on-line for Google AdSense Program and generally approval comes from Google within two days. Those having AdWord account can use AdWord e-mail address and password for AdSense account also. After acceptance of application, Google confirms creation of your Adsense account thru e-mail. You get a code for AdSense text ads and another code for AdSense search. These codes are to be installed on web page or blog and within minutes the page will start displaying ads from Google, and a Google search bar. AdSense is available in dozen languages worldwide.
The code for AdSense can be placed on any of your web pages. I think placing it on your blog will give you distinct advantage because blogs have several points in their favor. They are easily indexed by search engines. Recently two of my simple blogs were indexed by Google within 2-3 days of submission of URL's which I think is quite fast. With Yahoo! it is even easier - just add the URL of your blog to your My Yahoo page and Yahoo! will start accessing it immediately. GoogleAlert is a free tool that can be used to know when your blog is indexed by Google.
You can have your blog up and running in minutes free of cost from several sites that provide this service. I personally use blogger.com. With blogs you do not need to worry about designing websites, registering domain name or hiring web site hosting service. You simply write your content on the blog and it is ready for publication.
An excellent article by John Taylor on creating blog is re-published here:
http://sanjay-j.com/art1ab33.html
With AdSense wide range of options is available - number of ads for display, shape and size of display, color schemes. More than 200 colors are available from which you can choose color for border, background and text. 24 pre-set color palettes are readily available; in addition you can have your own custom-palette to match with the appearance of your web page. Similarly, color schemes are available for Google search bar.
When the web page is opened, Google ads are placed which match with the content of the page and are highly relevant. Google finds right ads for the web page from 100,000 AdWord advertisers.
Several options are available for the ads that you would like to be displayed on your page. Ad filters can be activated which will block up to 200 URL's of your choice which you do not want to show on your page. You may like to filter away ads from your competitors. You can even choose your own default ads for display. Google uses sensitive content filters to prevent display of sensitive material. If you find that your page is not really getting relevant ads, it may be time to look critically at the content of the page, particularly the keywords used in text, links and tags. Little SE optimization of the page should resolve this problem.
Sometimes Google places public service ads when no target ads are available. To suppress public service ad, it is possible to specify your own image ad or HTML page ad which will appear in place of public service ad. This ensures that some ad is always present there. Or, if you like, the space reserved for Adsense ads can be made to collapse.
AdSense tracker is another useful feature which tracks the ads on your pages and generates report for you. The reports can be customized based on requirement. Typically reports can give page impressions displayed, number of clicks and click-thru rates. It is also possible to check earnings any time.
Web page owner can make use of all these facilities and try to get best results. With the help of Ad tracker lot of useful information can be obtained - which ads are doing well, which color combination gets better results, which location of the web page is best for showing ads and so on. This analysis can be used to improve traffic as well as click-thru rates.
With AdSense you have virtually nothing to lose. If you have not yet installed AdSense on your website you can perhaps give it a thought. Any free space which can be created on your website to accommodate AdSense can be used to generate additional income.

3 Things to Consider to Increase AdSense Revenue

Better Ad Layout on your Website or Blog
Are you current results using Google AdSense on your websites to create online income been disappointing? Are you looking for some simple and effective strategies to boost your current levels of income? Making some key adjustments to the ways you present your ads can show some positive results in a short time frame.
The appearance of your Ad is important. Try to match the color, size and font in the text of your Ads with the rest of your page. You need to blend it into the look and feel of your page. When you create it in AdSense setup make the background color the same as where it will be placed on your page. Make the link colors the same too.
If Google AdSense is your primary method of monetizing your website, you should display those advertisements more prominently. The more your ads are noticed the more they will be clicked on.
Studies show the following:
  • Ads displayed at the top of the web page and in the left hand column are the most visible.
  • The style of your ad block also influences your click through rates. Large rectangular boxes convert best on most sites.
Attract more targeted Adds by providing Good ContentIf your primary income focus for your website is Adsense, the content of your website is extremely important. You want to make sure that your visitors are provided with good quality information. These visitors will also be searching for very specific content, which means that in order for them to show interest in the Adsense Ads, the add have to be targeted specifically.
The content of your web pages determines which ads are displayed. Since some keyword pay much better than others, it is to your benefit to do a bit of research to find which related keywords will generate more income for your site. As long as the content fits your website, try to include the higher paying keywords in your articles.
The most searched for terms are fought over pretty fiercely. Once keywords are purchased, the AdSense algorithm places the actual ads on web sites - matching them up with keywords and content on web pages. If the ads are off target or inappropriate - you need to take a step back and re-think your web site setup.
Increase AdSense Revenue by choosing your Niche carefully
I good tip for making more money with AdSense it would be to select your niches wisely. Not all AdSense ads are created equally.
Irrelevant of good content, well positioned adds and good web layout, your Adsense income will not reach it full potential if you target the wrong markets. It is very important to know what kind of money is spend in any given niche before you decide to target it, because the money spent in different target markets can differ quite drastically!
Which would you rather have, 100 clicks worth 10 cents each or 100 clicks worth $1.00 or more each?
So, start off with a profitable niche, do some good keyword research to find some long-tail keyword phrases which have some search volume, but little competition, submit some articles. Find the Best Keywords and Phrases: DO YOUR RESEARCH! Find out how to do keyword research.
Obtain a URL with very important keywords in your niche. When you build a niche site and the domain your top 2 or 3 keywords in it - you almost immediately start getting traffic.
A good Title is the next important thing. When you write a post the title controls much more than you think.
Start with a Synopsis Paragraph. The first paragraph after the title is the most important area of any post or page. This paragraph becomes your description under you title link in search engine results pages. Write 2 or 3 keyword rich sentences. The aim of the introduction is twofold. Firstly, it will influence the search engine rating and secondly, it describes the page and will determine if people will click in it to read more.
Bold important keywords as you write: As you write your post or article bold keywords and phrases when you are making points. These keywords, combined with your title and synopsis help target ads.
Link relevant sources. If you link relevant items in your post, it will help to target relevant traffic once again help target ads.

How To Use Adsense Cleverly On Your Blog

lacing Adsense on your blog is easy. A simple copy and paste action and
you’ve setup your website to make money. However, you need to know when to place
Adsense ads and where to place them and how to place them. This is what divides
the successful Adsense website builders from the not-so-successful Adsense
website builders. You need to use Adsense cleverly on your website.

Here are my findings you can use which has worked well for me to increase your
Adsense income.

There has been a lot of discussion of people throwing-up when they see Adsense
on a blog. They see the blog as a vehicle to earn income from Adsense and the
blog itself has no value. After seeing some awful blogs.

What you need to do is place Adsense on your blog which blends with your
website. Take away those borders and change the colors. Make it look as though
it is part of your website. This will lessen the preconceived notion others have
with Adsense blogs.

Next, you need to post regularly to your blog. I have to admit that regularly
means daily. I have tests that show missing a day or two with blogging,
generally affects the traffic to your blog. So get some postings ready for times
when you are busy.

With good daily updated content on your blog, people will not mind that your
blog has Adsense on them. You have to understand that people are looking for
information. If you give them what they want, they will return and click on some
Adsense ads which are of interest to them in time.

Daily blogging with good content will make people forget your blog is built for
Adsense income. They will appreciate that you are making money since you are
spending so much time offering them content.

I find that using horizontal Adsense ads are very effective. These are called
leaderboards which span across the website. I normally place these at the top of
the website so that my regular readers will see them first thing when they
visit.

I also find that ad links are very effective. These are Adsense ads that only
show the category of ads and have no description. They look like menu bars.
People need to click on the ad link, see a list of related Adsense and click on
them again before you are paid.

Though it requires 2 clicks to generate Adsense income for you, I find that this
sort of ad is very effective. The good thing is Google does not count ad links
towards the number of Adsense ads you can have on your website (which is 3 by
the way).

Next, if you’re writing a post on your blog, make sure that you place Adsense
right after you mention an interesting point. It could be the revealing of a
finding or some breaking news with your niche.

The reason is that people are drawn to your content at that moment and seeing
related Adsense ads beside it will help the click thru rate.

For your last Adsense ad, I would suggest placing it on the left hand side of
your blog. Preferably you will have a sign up box for a newsletter or
mini-course there, and place your Adsense under it

We humans read from left to right and from top to bottom. The top left portion
of your blog is viewed the most when they visit your blog. Make use of this
space.

Use these suggestions to place your ads and increase the Adsense clicks. They
have worked for me. I suggest you test out a lot of these and see for yourself.

Google AdSense Tips

AndrewCunnington

adsense
If you're new to using Google AdSense to earn money with your website or blog, you may be wondering how to get more clicks, or get more money for each click. Thankfully, there are some excellent Google AdSense tips that can help you out, so let's look at some of the best:
Google AdSense Tip #1: Place your ad blocks above the fold. The "fold" of a webpage, is the spot where you have to start using your scroll bar to move down the page and continue reading. By placing your AdSense blocks above this part of the page, you're more likely to get clicks on those ads. This is because many website visitors never bother to scroll down, and brand new website users don't even know they can scroll down to see more content.
Google AdSense Tip #2: Weave your ads into the content. Most website owners put their AdSense ads off to the side, on the top or on the bottom. If people are reading an article or tutorial on your site though, you'll get more attention to your ads if the ad blocks are within that content instead of surrounding it.
Put an ad at the top left of the start of an article is an excellent position for instance, as is starting the article normally, then placing your Google AdSense block at the start of the second paragraph. Try to make sure the ads are to the left or right of the text too, so that the text actually flows around it instead of being above or below the ad block.
Google AdSense Tip #3: Use the large or medium sized square or rectangle ad blocks. The 250x250, the 300x250, and the 336x280 blocks all have the highest click through ratios, particularly when used in the positions noted above.
Google AdSense Tip #4: Blend your ads. If you're using a white background on your website pages, also use a white background on your Google AdSense blocks. Don't use a border around the ads, and make the ad titles and links blue. Most website users - particularly ones who are new to using the Internet - expect clickable links to be blue. So by making your Google AdSense ads also use blue for the titles and links, you'll increase the chances of getting clicks.
If however, your website is designed with a colored background - let's say green for example - then you'll want your Google AdSense blocks to have that same background color. And if your website uses orange links within the pages, then make your AdSense links orange as well.
The whole point of blending the ads in, is to make them look as if they're a natural part of the content.
Google AdSense Tip #5: Write one topic per page. When you focus the content on each page of your website, and really make it a narrow topic focus, you increase the chances of getting highly relevant, high paying keywords which match the content of that page.

Ten Good Reasons for using Adsense

AndrewCunnington
yournetbiz

Why is Adsense so popular? What is the difference between traditional banner ads and Adsense? In this article, I’ll give you ten good reasons for using Adsense.
Displaying relevant ads
Adsense contains a vast advertiser base and its technology can deliver ads that are highly relevant to the content of the page. For example, you blog is about cars. Adsense will automatically selects those cars related ads and shown on your blog. Studies have proved that the percentage of clicks is higher for relevant ads than random ads. More clicks means higher revenue for you, too!
One contact point and that’s it
Another advantage is that after you’ve created a blog about cars, later maybe you want to create another blog about movies also. All you need to do is to use the same Adsense code then that’s done. Unlike traditional advertising, you’ll have to contact different companies for different kinds of ads. You only need one contact, Adsense.
One time registration only
As a Webmaster, you may own several blogs. However, you only need to register with the Adsense program once. After you’ve registered, if you continue to create another blogs later, you don’t need to register with Adsense again.
Credibility of Google
With the backup from Google, one of the largest search engines in the Internet, you don’t have to worry of not getting pay or being cheated by those fake “earn money online" companies.
Support different languages
Now you may wonder, is Adsense supports my language or not? Don’t worries Adsense supports different kinds of language, not only English.
Combine your blog with Google search engine
Apart from earning revenue from ads, joining the Adsense program also enables you to place a Google search box on your site. On one hand, your readers don’t have to switch to Google to search something that they’re interested; they can search that in your site and make them stay longer. On the other hand, when your readers search it from your site, the results shows up with ads also and you’ll get paid when your reader click on it.
Customize the appearance of ads
Traditional banner ads made your site looks “ugly" as you don’t have much control on its appearance. Let’s say you already have a banner on your site and you probably don’t want so many banners on it. With Adsense, you can customize the appearance of ads to make it more suitable for your site. If your site is mainly blue, you can choose the color of the ads to be blue also. (This feature is pretty important to your earning too and I’ll discuss the reason behind it in my articles later.)
Text-based ads
Adsense offers you text-based ads as well as traditional graphic banner ads. According to studies, most readers are already getting sick and tired of the traditional graphic banner ads. Automatically, they tend to ignore these banner ads and developed the banner ad blindness behavior. By using text based ads, webmaster doesn't have to face the problem of banner ad blindness and the click through rates will be expected to be much higher, too.
Keep track of the performance of ads
You can place your ads in different locations on different pages. Adsense enables you to assign different channels to different ads. As a result, you’ll know which location’s ad has the highest number of clicks in your site.

Many people do not understand the power of making money with AdSense. Selling products or services online can be very tough especially for the newbie with little capital and resources however with AdSense you can earn money without the need for your own products or services. What you will need though is a high traffic website and learning how to create such a site is the primary challenge. While AdSense is a great way to earn money online, you should always try to diversify your income sources and consider placing affiliate ads too so you have multiple streams of revenue.
Pick the right niches:
It is important to create sites in niches that have lots of advertiser competition. This will mean that the bidding is high and the payout per click can be much better than creating sites where there is not much competition. Use the Google keyword tool to find profitable niches to operate in to maximize your chances of success. Look for high volume search terms with lots of advertiser competition which will help to increase your pay per click. Before you apply for the AdSense program you will need to have a decent site.
Be creative and come up with original and unique content that people will want to read and find useful and will also want to return in the future. It is always a good idea to learn some programming languages and put up some original applications on your site, this will make your site stand out and you may even be able to charge people for using the applications if you are able to make it good enough.
Place ads in the proper locations:
You want to be placing ads in the parts of your pages that are visible to your visitors without making it appear like there are too many ads. Above the fold is always a good idea to place an ad unit ideally towards the center of the page as that is where most people tend to focus on a site. Also try to blend your ads in with the rest of the content on the site as this will help to improve click through rates. If you have an article on the page then consider wrapping content around an ad unit as this will help to improve click through rates also. It is also a good idea to place ads at the end of the page too as this will give your visitors a place to go once they are done checking the content on your page.
Learn basic SEO:
Search engine optimization can help to generate free and targeted traffic to your sites and is worth learning how to do. There are two aspects to SEO and they are on page optimization and off page optimization. Both are important but the off page is more critical. The first step is to focus on creating the best site you possibly can and add original and unique content that people will find useful to read. Never create spam sites or simply take content off other sites as this strategy will most likely fail and could get your site banned from the search engines as well as your AdSense account banned too.
Use a good keyword tool like the Google keyword tool to research potentially profitable keywords to optimize your site for. Look for long tailed keywords that are three words or more as these can be easier to rank for than the shorter terms. Also the long tailed terms are more targeted so have a tendency to convert better if you are promoting affiliate products on your site. Place the main keyword in the title and description tags as well as in the main paragraph and a few times toward the end of the page. For off page optimization you want to use a technique like article marketing or reciprocal linking to build quality inbound links to your site.
